a zombie mindset
The incident in
They had the open mindedness to come up with new philosophies, new ideas, new systems to help structure society.....
We on the other hand --- seem to have been stuck in a rut, where we blindly accept what out forefathers have to say without questioning or adapting systems to reflect newer times ..... And we are probably going to enforce our same out-dated & unquestioned philosphies on the next generation as well .. brutally stamping out any attempt to go against it ....
PS : many people have questioned the aim of my periodic ranting .... there are 2 reasons -- one if my outlook is incorrect , and some one does provide rational arguments , I would change my perspective ...... second if my outlook is correct ... even if one reader ... questions his beliefs in a rational manner, my objective is achieved ....

whatever it maybe ... your views maybe fine your thoughts maybe ok ... but i think you are wasting a lot of time thinking (and more pathetic) typing out all your thoughts. You or me or any individual cannot do much thinking and typing out thoughts on one of the most passive platforms as the internet where I do not know who you are and you do not know who I am. What is the use. Let me read out a quote for you "He has not discovered the value of life who has not understood the value of one hour". What else can i say? Tell me how much you have typed over the last 2 years and have you been able to do one small thing. The ones who are silent and who contribute through words are more valuable than the ones who "blog" on the internet. You do not become intelligent or clever or you need not dream that others look at you as clever or intelligent if you put wild thoughts in your blog everyday. To attract other's attention or to be perceived as brilliant or queer is every human being's wish. We just succumb to this desire. I have been thinking since a long time to mail our president Abdul Kalam about some related thoughts but have not found the time for it. You can do that and if your mail has even a little substance I am sure you will get a reply. You can see for yourself if your thoughts have some substance.

Firstly, blogger sucks. I wanted to reply to the comment by Anon, but I cannot do that.
Mr & Mrs Anon, why do think that mailing the president is cool? This seems to be the new fad. "We shall mail the President". I thought he asked people to pursue their dreams, not write to him and ask him implement their dreams.
